Pathology Resources For Med School Student

 If physiology was your favorite subject last year, then pathology will probably be your favorite subject in the clinical year. As these are the subjects where every topic has some understanding, not rote memorization.

Pathology seems a bit difficult at the start, as you don't know the way how to get things done. So, here in this blog, I will share some best resources which are available on the internet.

Gold-Standard Books

The top-notch resource for every subject is the respective book of that subject. Coz, the books are the same for all like students and teachers. So, the teachers whom we follow, also have the same resource of books.

The Gold-standard book for Pathology is Robbins & Cotran's Pathologic Basis of Disease. If you wanna go through almost each step and cause, then follow this book. There is also a medium book of it, named Robbins Basic.

Pathoma is the best short and high-yield resource for Pathology, which comprises Video lectures and notes combination. This is completely owned by Dr. Hussain Abdul Sattar.

Pathoma has helped thousands of students to clear the USMLE and other Licensing exams too. These lectures and notes are highly informative and helpful.

I have personally completed the Hematology section from there, especially the WBCs section, and believe me I was shocked, like how he made these complicated things clear and easy.

Ninja Nerd Lectures

The next resource, which I am personally following in recent days is the Pathology Lectures of Ninja Nerd. It's a YouTube Channel, where Dr. Zach teaches almost every subject, but for me, he is the real hero for Physiology and Pathology. 

Coz, his way of teaching suits both these subjects most. He loves to draw everything, every point that is important he teaches through his own excellent method.

I think if a 10-year-old lad just opens his lecture, and starts watching then believe he also can understand those complicated points within minutes.

I am personally watching his videos on Cardiovascular and Respiratory Pathology nowadays. If you wanna watch his videos, just type your topic on the search bar, and write ninja nerd in the end, then you will get this in the first place.

Doctutorial Lectures

If you wanna read Robbin's Basis, and you don't have either interest or time. then start watching Doctutorial Lectures. Because the way Mam Vandana Puri explains the topics is awesome. 

She teaches every line from Robbin's Basis, and yes in some points it will look like extra knowledge. But the fact is Robbins Basis is the Godfather Book for Pathology. Try to take your own notes.
