If you are a medical student, you should be aware of this favorite subject. Most students love this subject, but some students are against it.
As in the last two years, I have studied Physiology in my first two years of med school, so I will share some tips and tactics to tackle with this subject. I will explain the process in some phases, that will help you in this situation.
Phase-0
Before starting, you should be clear about the resources, from where you will be studying throughout your course. I think this is the main phase, that will clear almost your problems. Also, make an Excel sheet or doc file of your topics or curriculum of the subject.
Phase-1
I also cleared my concepts from Ninja Nerd. I have no words for how can I explain to you about his skills in teaching physiology. He teaches different subjects, but I think Physiology is his specialty.
In this phase, you will get the concept in the best way that I think you will never forget.
Phase-2
Here, pick your book as mentioned in your resources, and read that topic from it. It will clear the gaps that might be in your mind. And, also it will prepare you for the Long Answer Questions in your exams too.
The book that you picked should be the same one that is recommended by your college, coz it will help you in exams too.
Phase-3
Phase-4
It's the last phase of clearing the topic in the first place. As you are doing any particular topic, I think you would also prefer to have notes from it. So, these notes will be the next option for your revision.
This phase comes after 7 days or when you feel like you are forgetting some points.
So, don't panic, either give a read to your notes or instead of notes make some short crisp questions, and create a doc file of them. Whenever you wanna have a revision, just read and answer those questions.
This is called the Active Recall method, which helps in the long-term retaining of any info or facts.
Wrap-Up
That's all for Physiology study tactics that I personally used if you wanna more, just comment below, and share it if you like.
